Meet Our Providers

Hope Taylor Scott MD, FAAP Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics

Hope Scott received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Scott completed her residency and was chief resident at Georgetown University Hospital prior to entering private practice at Reston Town Center Pediatrics in 1989. She became board certified in pediatrics in 1989 and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In 2004, she earned an additional board certification in developmental-behavioral pediatrics. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, cooking, needlepoint, hiking, walking her dogs and hanging out with her husband and two adult children.

Dr Scott’s developmental and behavioral pediatric services are available to all patients who receive their pediatric care at RTC Pediatrics.

We are closed for Christmas Day, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Day.

  • We require an appointment for your child to be seen.
  • Everyone age 2 years and older entering our office is required to wear a face mask.
  • Telehealth sick visits are available. Call us to schedule.

After-Hours Care

If your child’s illness or injury is life threatening, call 911.

Save time and call us before you take a trip to urgent care. When the office is closed, you may choose to be connected to our after-hours answering service. If needed, they can connect you to the physician on call. The fee to speak to someone after hours is $25/call. This service is not billed to your insurance.

Walk-In Sick Clinic

Our Walk-In Sick Clinic is for children with minor illness symptoms lasting less than a week. Patients are seen on a first come-first served basis. Please bring your insurance card and be prepared to pay your copay, if applicable.

Virtual Sick Clinic

8:00 am - 9:00 am

Thursday
8:00 am - 9:00 am

Our Virtual Sick Clinic is a convenient way to obtain care for minor illnesses virtually from the comfort of your home! It is for care for children aged 6 months and older with minor illnesses lasting less than a week. Patients are seen on a first come first serve basis.
