Please call our office to schedule all appointments, including well and sick visits. We will do our best to accommodate your desired date and time. Telehealth appointments are still available. Please call the office.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete any outstanding paperwork, provide your insurance card and credit card information.
A $50 ($100 June-August) missed appointment fee will be added to your account for all WELL CHILD EXAMS that are missed or not canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. If you no show/cancel less than 2 hours of a same day sick appointment, your account will be charged a $50 missed appointment fee. Please read our Financial Policy.
If you are running late or need to reschedule, please contact our office as soon as possible. Please note that patients who arrive more than 15 minutes late for their appointment may be asked to reschedule their appointment.
When the office is closed, you may choose to be connected to our after-hours answering service. If needed, they can connect you to the physician on call. The fee to speak to someone after hours is $25/call. This service is not billed to your insurance.
The after-hours answering service can’t attend to matters regarding lab results, referral requests, prescription refills, billing questions, or changing/canceling appointments. These needs will have to be addressed when the office is open.
If you have a lab appointment at RTC Pediatrics with lab orders from another physician’s office, you must bring the physical paper order to your appointment with us. If you arrive for your appointment without your physical paper order, you will have to reschedule.

Our Walk-In Sick Clinic is for children with minor illness symptoms lasting less than a week. Patients are seen on a first come-first served basis.
Please bring your insurance card and be prepared to pay your copay, if applicable.
Your child’s next visit could take place in the convenience of your home via telehealth.
Please understand that while this software is HIPAA-compliant, by choosing to do a virtual visit, you are agreeing to electronic communication of you or your child’s health information through audio, video, and/or photo technology. While our software is secure, consider any privacy needs in your space as well.
We are not scheduling Covid Vaccine Clinics at this time.
The new COVID-19 vaccine is now available at My Dr's Pharmacy in Herndon for individuals 6 months and older.

Your child can get the flu shot at any scheduled appointment in our office. We also offer the Flu Shot at nurse shot appointments. Call our office to schedule your child(ren)'s Flu Shot.

We are required to report visits outside of normal business hours to your insurance provider. Appointments scheduled before 8am, after 5pm, on Saturdays and on Federal holidays will incur an additional fee, which may be applied to your copay, coinsurance, or annual deductible.
We are closed for Christmas Day, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Day.
