Schedule Availability
Our appointment schedule for June 2023 will open up April 3, 2023.
Appointments Are Required
Please call our office to schedule all appointments, including well and sick visits. We will do our best to accommodate your desired date and time.
Our last day of Virtual Sick Clinic is Tuesday 2/14. Starting Wednesday 2/15, please call the office for an in-person sick appointment. Telehealth appointments are still available. Please call the office.
Running Late?
If you are running late or need to reschedule, please contact our office as soon as possible. Please note that patients who arrive more than 15 minutes late for their appointment may be asked to reschedule their appointment.
After-Hours Calls
When the office is closed, you may choose to be connected to our after-hours answering service. If needed, they can connect you to the physician on call. The fee to speak to someone after hours is $25/call. This service is not billed to your insurance.
The after-hours answering service can’t attend to matters regarding lab results, referral requests, prescription refills, billing questions, or changing/canceling appointments. These needs will have to be addressed when the office is open.
Lab Appointments
If you have a lab appointment at RTC Pediatrics with lab orders from another physician’s office, you must bring the physical paper order to your appointment with us. If you arrive for your appointment without your physical paper order, you will have to reschedule.

Our Walk-In Sick Clinic is for children with minor illness symptoms lasting less than a week. Patients are seen on a first come-first served basis.
Please bring your insurance card and be prepared to pay your copay, if applicable.
Telehealth Appointments
Your child’s next visit could take place in the convenience of your home via telehealth.
Tips for your telehealth visit
- Internet access is required. This service works best if you are on Wi-Fi.
- You do not need to download any apps in advance. Please use Google Chrome or Firefox for your web browser.
- Your computer’s camera and audio must be enabled.
- A quiet environment with good lighting is important. Place the light in front of you and your child, rather than behind you.
- Please have your child’s recent weight and temperature.
- We may need to review any medications your child is using, and verify your preferred pharmacy.
Privacy Considerations
Please understand that while this software is HIPAA-compliant, by choosing to do a virtual visit, you are agreeing to electronic communication of you or your child’s health information through audio, video, and/or photo technology. While our software is secure, consider any privacy needs in your space as well.

Important
On the day of your appointment:
- Your child must be well without ANY symptoms of cough, cold or other illness.
- Your child should wear a short sleeve shirt.
For COVID vaccines:
- If this is their 2nd or 3rd dose, please remember to bring their COVID vaccination card.
- Take a photo of your child’s vaccination card and keep the original in a safe place.
