Appointments

Our schedule for Well Checks is available to book 1 year in advance.  

Please call our office to schedule all appointments, including well and sick visits. We will do our best to accommodate your desired date and time. Telehealth appointments are still available. Please call the office.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete any outstanding paperwork, provide your insurance card and credit card information.

A $50 ($100 June-August) missed appointment fee will be added to your account for all WELL CHILD EXAMS that are missed or not canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. If you no show/cancel less than 2 hours of a same day sick appointment, your account will be charged a $50 missed appointment fee.

If you are running late or need to reschedule, please contact our office as soon as possible. Please note that patients who arrive more than 15 minutes late for their appointment may be asked to reschedule their appointment.

When the office is closed, you may choose to be connected to Hello Pediatrics, our after-hours service. If needed, they can connect you to the physician on call. The fee to speak to someone after hours is $25/call. This service is not billed to your insurance.

The after-hours answering service can’t attend to matters regarding lab results, referral requests, prescription refills, billing questions, or changing/canceling appointments.  These needs will have to be addressed when the office is open.

If you have a lab appointment at RTC Pediatrics with lab orders from another physician’s office, you must bring the physical paper order to your appointment with us. If you arrive for your appointment without your physical paper order, you will have to reschedule.

We make every effort to schedule appointments for ill children on the day that you call us. Please call our office ahead of time so that we can minimize the time that you will spend waiting.

If you have a medical emergency during office hours, we will do our best to see your child immediately or refer you to the appropriate facility.

Did you know regular well child visits are one of the most important things you can do to keep your child healthy? Well child visits also provide you with the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your child’s health.

Your child should have a well child visit at the intervals listed below. We recommend that you call our office 3 months in advance to schedule an appointment with your child's primary care provider on the date that best fits your needs.
