Beyfortus Immunizations for RSV

Reston Town Center Pediatrics offers Beyfortus for the prevention of RSV disease in infants and children. Beyfortus will be given during well child checks to infants who meet these qualifications:


  • Less than 8 months of age (born after April 1st of current year)
  • Infant was born less than 14 days after pregnant parent’s RSV immunization
  • Infants and children 8 through 19 months of age who are at increased risk of severe RSV disease and entering their second RSV season:
  • Cystic Fibrosis who have manifestations of severe lung disease
  • Severely immunocompromised
  • Chronic lung disease of prematurity who required medical support at any time during the 6-month period before the start of the second RSV season
