Elizabeth Pettit, MD

Dr. Pettit received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Virginia in 2017. Prior to medical school, she stayed in Charlottesville working in a dermatology practice before moving to DC to complete her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Through her passion for community engagement and advocacy on a legislative scale, she stayed in DC to complete her pediatric residency at Children’s National Hospital. Throughout residency she also expanded on her interests in medical education and mentorship. Dr. Pettit is passionate about health equity and the pediatrician’s role in advocating for community health. She also has particular interests in adolescent health, mental health, and nutrition.
In her free time Dr. Pettit enjoys hiking, camping, and skiing. She also enjoys reading, playing board games, and trying new restaurants and cuisines around the DMV.
