Tiffany Yang, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry: Biochemistry from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts, and later a Master of Science in Physician Assistant from South University in Savannah, Georgia.
When Tiffany was seven years old, her grandfather passed away from prostate cancer. Watching healthcare providers care for her grandfather was the first exposure she had to the medical field. Tiffany’s grandfather became a role model and inspiration for her, his compassion motivating her to care for her patients in the same fashion. Though he passed away when she was very young, he imprinted the desire to be a part of the medical field. Through her experiences with coaching basketball, tutoring kids, volunteering at various hospitals, being a leader of Young Life, a Christian ministry dedicated to mentoring students, she has enjoyed meeting kids at different stages in life. To Tiffany, being a good provider isn’t just about having medical knowledge, but also showing kindness and compassion to patients and their families in order to keep kids safe and healthy. Tiffany sees patients of all ages for a variety of acute and chronic conditions relating to primary care, including newborn exams, well-child checks, ADHD management, anxiety and depression, and more. She has a particular medical interest in preventative care and pediatric nutrition. Tiffany belongs to the American Association of Physician Associates (AAPA), Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants (VAPA), a National Affiliate Member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and has research published in medical journals.
Although Tiffany grew up in California, she has grown to love living on the East Coast. When she isn’t in the office, Tiffany enjoys traveling, working out, reading, finding new restaurants and coffee shops to try, and spending time with her family.
